The Plainsmen have been through a lot in the past year but still, through it all, maintain their passion for the music that got them started - warm  melodies, tight harmonies and hypnotizing grooves.

Lap Of Luxury is a new brew of country served up by the boys from Regina featuring twelve songs that will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. It should come with a warning label - you could find yourself wiping a tear from your cheek or your roommate could catch you lip-syncing in your underwear in front of the mirror. Eight tracks were co-written by The Poverty Plainsmen and long time friends Duane Steele and Steve Fox. Completed just two days before a catastrophic motor vehicle accident in northern Alberta, this album shows true proof of how dedication, unconditional support and a positive outlook can get you through just about anything. After a year of expecting the unexpected and still coming out kicking, The Poverty Plainsmen are still proud to be living the "Lap Of Luxury".
